Programme Highlights

We have always emphasised and believe that children, both boys and girls, learn best when they are having fun, playing organised games, bringing out the athlete in them and building their self-confidence along the way. And there is no better time to start them down the path to lifelong fitness than at preschool age. With this in mind, Fit To Play has specially designed this fitness programme for the children of your kindergarten.

Through experience, we have seen how the majority of primary one children are overwhelmed when they are faced with six hours of curriculum time plus co-curricular activities (CCA) during after-school hours. Some feel stressed, exhausted and even cry and refuse to attend CCAs because of this. Fit To Play?s purpose in bringing the 1st Touch Preschool Programme to your children is to give them an advantage over their peers when they enter primary one, as our coaches will prepare them in what to expect, thus making the transition that much easier.

Sports Activities ? Through targeted sporting activities, the children will develop their motor skills of agility, balance and coordination, while learning about teamwork, sportsmanship and athleticism. These are key areas that will give them a head start as they embark on a lifetime of fitness ahead. Best of all, while they may not even realise it, they will also cultivate essential social skills and a belief in themselves and their abilities at the same time.

Karate Training ? An exclusive martial arts elective conducted in conjunction with Shinwa-Kai Karate Club and Shihan Richard Ng, 7th Dan Black-Belt and National Coach of Singapore. The children will learn techniques of self-defense, achieve physical and mental fitness, and build discipline through karate. Furthermore, they will receive internationally recognised grading and those who demonstrate potential will even be groomed for competition.
