Flipped Classroom Masterclass

The 4-Angle Character Development Framework

At FTP, the Flipped Classroom introduces children to four important development areas that help them grow in awareness, responsibility and character.

These four angles guide children to think, reflect, practise good habits and apply what they learn in real situations.

What Is a Flipped Classroom?

  • Before each session, we share a short video link.

  • Children watch it at home and come prepared.

  • Back in the AV-equipped classroom, we play the video, pause and have an interactive discussion.

  • Children ask questions, answer questions and share what they understood.

  • They do not just listen.

Four-Angle Character Development Approach

Angle 1 Grey Area Electives

Some life lessons fall into grey areas.

Schools assume parents will teach them.

Parents assume children will learn them later.

Examples include:

• Handling bullying calmly and confidently

• Appreciating the love and sacrifice of working parents

• Understanding why water is precious and learning to save it

These real-life topics strengthen awareness and confidence.

Angle 2 Daily Good Habits of Responsibilities

Children receive a simple responsibility checklist.

They practise these habits during the week at home and in school.

At the next session, they share honestly what they have done.

When children speak:

  • Confidence grows

  • Communication improves

  • Responsibility develops

Responsibility Checklist

I make my bed after waking up

After school, I put my clothes and socks into the laundry basket

I put my shoes neatly on the shoe rack

I pack my school bag properly

I finish my homework before going out to play

After playing, I clean up my toys or sports equipment

I return things to the correct place after using them

I help my parents with small things at home

I listen when someone is speaking to me

I speak politely to my parents and family

I try to be punctual and not be late

I bring my water bottle and my things when I leave home

I keep my room neat and tidy

I say “thank you” and show appreciation

I try my best and I do not give up easily

Angle 3 Sharpening Life Skills and Principles

Children practise simple life principles such as:

  • Taking initiative

  • Doing important things first

  • Being respectful

  • Being honest

  • Cooperating with others

  • Supporting teammates

  • Staying calm under pressure

  • Trying again after mistakes

Angle 4 Sports Session

After the classroom session, children step onto the field for a two-sided soccer game.
